John Carey, British literary critic and emeritus Merton Professor of English Literature at the University of Oxford explores the poetry and personality of John Donne.
In his talk he will give and account of Donne’s life and relate it to the Lothian portrait of Donne which now hangs in the National Portrait Gallery.
